Politically Incorrect….

Technically, intolerance is rising worldwide... so, are we supposed to leave the world? With virtual discussions/ debates, trolling celebs, we are just adding fuel to this issue.
Everyone’s opinion comes with certain level of prejudice, and everyone has to prove how he/she is right to the world. But the question isn’t about who is right & who is not. How you see the world is different from the way someone else sees it. So everyone is right in their situation.Right now the world needs some empathy & peace.
As some studies report, “India will be a superpower in coming years. India will be a developed country very soon. “ Yes there are a major infrastructural changes going on in the country right now. But is it enough? Is it enough for us to be a superpower? Only infrastructural changes are not enough. There needs to be a change in the mindsets of the people.
Given how we function today, we are not going to be a superpower so soon. This is 21st century & even to this day, we are divided on so many fronts. Someone plays the religion card/ language card & we lose our calm. Why are we so vulnerable towards these issues? The Religion is used by politicians for a long time now. And the after effects are well known.
May be in another hundred years to come, we have worked on our vulnerabilities. May be then, we will not be manipulated by our leaders. One can only hope to see these changes. Till then keep your fingers crossed.

Her Dreams

Everyday is a struggle for her.
Being a wife, a daughter-in-law, a working woman & a mother...
so many titles to her credit....But somehow amid all of this, she's forgotten that she was once a daughter too...
Sure she had many dreams in her eyes, to travel the world around, to spend time with her loved ones, to cherish all the times.

And then some of these dreams were lost with time.
She now doesn't feel the need to have any dreams as she lives her days to complete the duties that were allotted to her. She doesn't hate her reality but  she isn't pleased with it either.

Her world once circled around her friends, now her child is the only world for her eyes.

Ever since the child, the life she thought of is nowhere to be found.
And there she learned to pretend that there's nothing that she likes.
The dreamy soul that once was hers, now likes to be tough to the outer world.

But deep inside her heart , she wants the world to know her dreams.
She wants to be a rebel once again.

She doesn't want to limit herself with the kind of life that was thrown at.

She loves to be loved & cared.
She doesn't like to be weak.
She can't put up a show either.
She just wants to be herself.

“Kids, I’m going to tell you an incredible story….the story of ‘How I Met Your mother’…”

Haveeeeeeeeeeeee you met Ted?”

“This is going to be ‘legend’ wait for it ‘dary’, ‘legendary!!!!’

“Nothing good happens after 2 am.

“She is coming as fast as she can.”

“Suit up!”

I can hear all the echoes,  as the series finale of How I met your mother (himym) is approaching :P

Yes , it is very difficult to digest the fact that, it will be over soon.

Lily pad & Marshmallow, Robin sparkles ,Barney’s one liners, Ted’s stupid girlfriends, Ted’s  2 minute date & all other awesome dates that he arranged, “The wedding bride”, The subways & the subway wars, The Super bowl Sundays , Ted’s red boots :p, MacLaren’s , Marshall & barney’s slap bets, Barney’s playbook, the Brocode, Suiting up & the infinite  tales of Mr. Barney Stinson’s awesomeness.........

9 years of sheer madness will be over soon.

I know it might sound very stupid for anyone who has never watched the series.(But seriously dude, if you haven’t watched it yet, then you have certainly missed out a ‘series’ of ‘awesomeness’ from your life. :P )

As the years passed, Every character has/had made a very special place in everyone’s heart. <3

It wasn’t, isn’t & will never be just any other comedy for the fans ( read 'crazy' fans like me ;) :P) . It was the mother of all comedies.

In between all this, I keep reminding myself , that everything has to come to an end, sometime. So, stop being sad .......and suit up for the 'epic' series finale ever ;)

My Time travel with Andre Agassi ;)

Reading an autobiography is like time travelling with the storyteller.

AND right Nowww
I’m happpiieee & thrilled to travel  time with andre agassi :) through his autobiography called 'OPEN'.

Yeah..... I traveled with him to the U.S.Open, to Australian Open, to 1999 French Open (alongwith steffi graf ;) ) & also to the  2005 French Open, Wimbledon,  also to the time when he was a kid & hated playing  tennis. ;) I was with him when he was on high as well as when he had to go through all the rough times.
For me reading him was like being with him every moment. :)

For me this book has become a source of inspiration now. I  read it whenever I feel low. It somehow has the power to bring out the good in me.

A line from this book that I loved the most was when Agassi relates his aggression for tennis with his performance. In his words, 'Mind & body should be in sync' with each other in order to perform better.
That is, if you want to be better everyday, make sure your mind & body are in sync. If you have a stressed out mind & a very lazy body posture, then you may not get good results. Also, if your mind is calm but your body has no time to relax, it will not help you to maintain balance. Thus, when you have everything synchronized you will feel more energized than ever.

And just to follow this great thought, I have started taking regular walks in the evening from last few months. It just helps me have some time to connect with myself. :)

While reading this book, I came across so many dimensions of this person. And With every page of this book, RESPECT for this greatest tennis player I have ever known widens. :)
