Pursuit of dreams

Dreams, for which you are ready to risk everything and some more,

Dreams, that have the power either to make you or break you,

Dreams, that give you an adrenaline rush and a meaning to your being,

Ain't such dreams worth chasing?

Wounded warriors

Maybe, some wounds aren't supposed to heal completely.

Maybe, it is supposed to stay that way.

It is supposed to hurt us every now and then;

only to make us stronger with each passing day.

In a way, we all are wounded warriors waging a war against time.

Long chats, high-fives & crazy laughs,

freshly brewed coffee by our side,

With every sip of coffee,

we get lost into each other,

As the night passes by we try to gather

the broken pieces of each other's souls,

No judgements and no prejudice,

Just two people listening to each other,

It's almost dawn now & we are still

drowning in each other's eyes,

You're smiling for no reason while

counting the empty coffee mugs,

I realise how beautifully you hugged

my flaws & made me feel home,

All I want now is you &

I want you to be my dreamscape! :)
